Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Anical
Yes, Anical is completely free to use. All features are available at no cost.
We use the Jikan API, an unofficial MyAnimeList API, to fetch anime information. All user viewing data is stored locally on your device.
Enable notifications in Settings, then configure broadcast alerts and reminder timing (15/30/60 minutes before) individually.
Once data is fetched, it's cached locally so you can browse offline. However, fetching new data requires an internet connection.
Currently, Japanese and English are supported. You can switch languages at any time from the Settings screen.
